Greetings! A lot has been going on since our last update. We have added a few new effects to our shows and are working on a few new stage illusions as well. We have now performed in 30 states, adding Connecticut recently. We have travelled through more than 30 but have not performed in all of them yet.

Mike recently got the rare opportunity to meet and spend some time with Peter Criss, the original drummer of the Legendary Rock Band KISS. Criss, “The Catman”, helped form the band in 1972 along with Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and Ace Frehley. Throughout his KISS career, Criss was lead vocalist on several notable songs including “Black Diamond”, “Hard Luck Woman”, and their breakthrough hit “Beth”. Peter Criss is given co-writer credit for the ballad “Beth”, a Top 10 #7 hit for KISS in 1976. The song remains the highest-charting song for KISS in the USA and it earned them a People's Choice Award in 1977. The song was written by Criss before he had joined KISS, while he was still a member of a band called Chelsea. Criss came up with the melody for the song while on a train to New York City from New Jersey where the band practiced. Criss has rejoined the band and quit several times over the years and last played with them in 2004. He is now reportedly working on an autobiography. In other news, we recently added an all new Trivia Game Show to our offerings. While this show has nothing to do with Magic, we thought it would be a nice addition to the other entertainment options that we offer. Mike has hosted a similar Game Show on occasion through our friend Marc at Mr. B Entertainment, over the past several years. Mr. B also offers our strolling magic with the unique twist of having Mike perform while operating a Segway. It sure is different and an attention getter. For the Segway Magic - Segway of Hershey provides us with a custom Segway machine that Mike can operate with his knees leaving his hands free to perform magic.
