2012 Magic

Welcome to our first blog update for the year 2012 and it’s the end of February already. In January Mike began his year-long term, as President of The Capital Area Professional Magicians Club in Harrisburg, PA. The club is a combined group made up of – the Society of American Magicians - Assembly 110 and the International Brotherhood of Magicians - Ring 20. Also in January Mike completed his eighth consecutive year as producer of A Comedy and Magic Show at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre for the Professional Magicians Club of Lancaster (PMC) for which he is also a Grand Council Member. So far this year The Magic of Mike Snyder & Donna have entertained a variety of groups with a good mixture of close-up and Segway Magic, a few of the new Trivia Game Shows, and several banquet and club shows.

Most of our shows are private corporate events but we have a few shows coming up that are open to the public. The first is Saturday, March 24, at the Allegany College of Maryland Theatre in Cumberland, MD. The Show, to benefit "The League...A Children's Place" starts at 6:00 PM. Doors open at 5:30PM. Tickets are on sale now at The Book Center in downtown Cumberland, Main Street Books in Frostburg, and The League...A Children's Place (1st Floor - Health Center - Willowbrook Road) in Cumberland, MD. Tickets are $10 General Seating in advance ($12 at the door) and $15 VIP Seating in advance ($20 at the door). For more information call Louis Paul Productions at 301-759-9185. The next day on Sunday, March 25th, we will perform in WV at the Greenbriar High School Auditorium. Showtime is at 2:00 PM. Tickets will be available at the door if not sold out in advance. More information and details for this event to follow in a future post.

Back by popular demand, we will be preforming at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, PA for two full weeks this summer.
Friday, July 13th – Thursday, July 19th
Monday, August 6th – Sunday, August 12th.

This will be our 19th consecutive season at this amazing family friendly Amusement Resort. Parking, Admission, and entertainment shows are all free. Knoebels has two of the top rated wooden coasters in the United States (with more in production). You can even bring your own food/picnic lunch into the park. But why would you when they have a variety of award winning food choices at affordable prices throughout the park? At Knoebels we perform 3 different shows per day, 4 per day on the weekend.
