How it all began.

This summer Mike finally got the opportunity to meet Marshall Brodien, the gentleman that got him started in magic at the age of 5 when Mike saw him on TV with his amazing "TV Magic Cards", (my very first piece of magic and I still have them. - Mike). In the 1960s and 1970s, Mr. Brodien was the spokesperson for a magic trick card deck known as "TV Magic Cards". The deck resembled a regular playing card deck, except that the cards could be shown as all different or all the same card. Many other card tricks could be performed with the deck. Over 17 million decks of the cards were sold. Brodien currently designs magic trick sets for children and they are available in toy stores and magic shops around the world. His autobiography, "The Magical Life Of Marshall Brodien," was recently published and is available through Amazon.com and several other online stores. Mr. Brodien was a performer at this years opening event for the Society of American Magicians (S.A.M.) convention held in Atlanta, GA and it was a pleasure to finally meet him in person.
At these conventions magicians from around the world perform, lecture, buy & sell, study, share and explore the art of magic. Every year the S.A.M. convention is held in a different city and draws an interesting mix of performers. From a variety of this years magic conventions and get togethers we have got a few new tricks up our sleeves that we will be putting in the shows as we are able.
We just completed 28 shows in 13 days with travel in between. We will be back at Knoebels Amusement Resort from Thursday, August 12th - Wednesday, August 18th 2010. Knoebels is great place to see our show. At this Amusement Resort, parking, admission, and our shows are all free. Plus they have two of the top rated wooden coasters in the country (with two more on in production). You can even bring your own food/picnic lunch into the park. But why would you when they have a variety of award winning food choices at affordable prices throughout the park? We perform 3 different shows per day, 4 per day on the weekend. You deserve a break anyway, so why not stop out and see us! You will be glad you did.
